The Pakistan-Vietnam Business Forum, held in Islamabad, brought together senior government officials and business leaders from both countries to explore trade, investment, and economic cooperation. Co-chaired by Pakistan’s Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan and Vietnam’s Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyễn Hồng Diên, the forum marked the official launch of negotiations on a Preferential Trade Agreement (PTA) aimed at boosting bilateral trade, expanding market access, and promoting joint ventures in key sectors like textiles, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, IT, and food processing. The event featured business-to-business meetings and discussions on strengthening partnerships and enhancing economic ties between Pakistan and Vietnam.
